Teri graduated from the University of Illinois College of Engineering with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Since then, she's worked with many programming languages and many operating systems, while developing, maintaining and supporting a vast array of applications.
Teri has been programing since 1979, when she was in junior high school. She was fortunate enough to have a dad in the computer field who owned a then-state-of-the-art Osbourne home computer. One Sunday morning she was bored and looking for something to do, so she sat down at the computer and wrote her first program to calculate interest. Well, that wasn't "all she wrote", and she was hooked on programming (up until then, she had planned on being a veterinarian or an actuary).
Teri can easily work with virtually any programming language, though most of her actual hands-on work experience has been with Visual Basic, HTML and VBScript, compiled Basic, C (and ++), Pascal, COBOL, assembly, and even some NEAT/3 (believe it or not!). These along with the usual plethora of college programing languages.
Teri has worked in DOS, Unix / Xenix, Win9x, Win NT/2000/me. She's worked with WinNT, Lantastic and Novell networks.
Teri has developed and maintained accounting systems, automated processing systems, database maintenance, water / sewer billing for cities, fair judging records, project tracking, fertilizer formulation, soil testing and recommendations, volume calculations, pc-to-mainframe communications, automated communications for remote downloads, various inventory tracking systems, point-of-sale and pricing systems, and much more!
